Product Cateogry hierarchy from ECC to SRM

Hello experts,

Up to this point we have been using SRM with a separate definition of product categories. This means that all product categories on which you can purchase are defined in the SPRO -> Logistic General -> Basic Settings for Key fields ->Define Material Groups on the ECC side, while in SRM all cateogries are maintained in the tcode COMM_HIERARCHY (the ones that are present in the ECC are marked as "Product/Object Assignment Possible"). Of course this gives us some product categories in the hierarchy that are not in the ECC.

Now we have decided to go to an integrated scenario between SRM and the ECC. This means we want to replicate the product categories from the ECC and use the in shopping carts.

I was able to do this in tcode R3AC3 with DNL_CUST_PROD1, but in the new hierarchies I only get product categories without any grouping.

For example:

1. Right now in SRM I have product category 10 under wich I have 1002, 1003, 1005. Under 1005 I also have 100501. All this has been maintained using COMM_HIERARCHY

2. In the ECC I have 1002, 1003, 100501

If I run the report I will only get the 1002, 1003, 100501.

I've checked COMM_HIERARCHY in the ECC but it's empty.

So now my question is, where do I create this hierarchy so that it's transfered in the load?

Thank you!

Cata
